Join us for the Institute’s annual Europe Forum on Carbon Capture and Storage, which will take place on 4 March in Brussels, Belgium. A key platform for policy leaders, NGOs, industry experts, academics, financial institutions, and the public to explore the latest developments in carbon capture and storage (CCS) across Europe.
Along with engaging discussions and presentations, attendees will have the opportunity to take part in curated breakout sessions touching on a range of topics related to the CCS value chain, followed by a networking reception.

Following the release of an article in The Guardian questioning the use of CCS, the Institute issued a balanced and data-backed response highlighting both the need for CCS to tackle emissions from hard-to-abate industries while showcasing the steady scale-up of the technology worldwide.
The Institute also reiterated that CCS is part of a wider suite of proven climate solutions that are all needed to ensure we reach our climate goals.
