Webinar | Global Status of CCS Report Launch Event

On 9 October, the Institute held an online launch event for the Global Status of CCS report. The authors of the report provided a snapshot of CCS developments and breakthroughs that have taken place over the last 12 months, unveiling the latest details on projects in operation and under development. The event also provided an overview of the evolving CCS policy landscape and key drivers that are making CCS a commercial reality.

Member Webinar | EPA's GHGRP Proposal and Implications for 45Q  

The Institute is delighted to invite our Members to a special Member Webinar to discuss the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) proposed changes to the Greenhouse Gas Reporting Program (GHGRP) and potential implications for claiming the 45Q tax credit.

Event | 2025 Middle East and Africa Forum on Carbon Capture and Storage

The Global CCS Institute is delighted to host the 2025 Middle East and Africa Forum on CCS in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, on 6 November 2025.  


Held on the grounds of the prominent ADIPEC conference, this flagship event is an opportunity to hear from key players supporting the scale-up of CCS in the MEA region, including policy and government leaders, researchers and academics, project developers, and industry experts.

Event | 2025 Japan CCS Forum

The Institute is pleased to announce that the Japan CCS Forum 2025 will be held on 4 December 2025 in Tokyo, Japan.

This year’s forum will focus on CCS projects in the Asia-Pacific region, with a particular emphasis on cross-border deployment. Through panel discussions with policymakers, industry leaders, academics, and international organizations, the forum will assess the challenges and opportunities tied to the social implementation and international expansion of CCS.
