Event | 2025 Japan CCS Forum | |
The Institute is pleased to host the flagship Japan CCS Forum on 4 December 2025, which will be held in Tokyo, Japan.
This year’s forum will focus on CCS projects in the Asia-Pacific region, with a particular emphasis on cross-border deployment. Through panel discussions with policymakers, industry leaders, academics, and international organizations, the forum will assess the challenges and opportunities tied to the social implementation and global expansion of CCS. Event | 2025 Middle East and Africa Forum on Carbon Capture and Storage | |

On 6 November, the Institute held the Middle East and Africa (MEA) Forum on CCS during the prominent and engaging ADIPEC conference. The Forum brought together policy leaders, researchers, academics, project developers and industry experts to discuss CCS advancement in the MEA region and beyond.
At a time when CCS is scaling fast, the MEA Forum convened nearly 100 regional and global leaders for a landmark gathering in Abu Dhabi. The message was clear: CCS has entered its delivery decade, and the MEA region is helping lead it.
